Craft Fair Success!!

Our craft fair on Saturday was a huge success!! I love going to these events because invariably, I meet new people. I love that the most because it gives me the perfect opportunity to introduce them to my classes, my designs, my Facebook page (with the free weekly tutorials!) and so much more. This Community Day craft fair was a ton of fun and the weather was warm but lovely. There was a free raffle, free food, free snow cones, free popcorn and cotton candy, and so many vendors to choose from to meet all kinds of interests!

My handmade "Book Boxes" were the big seller this time along with my handmade cards, bath bombs, handmade organic lip balm, and goats milk soap. I love the Book Boxes too (this year I made two sizes!) because it is a double gift. You get the book box itself and also the cards that come with it on the inside. The larger size (A-2 size) holds six cards with envelopes and the smaller one holds four notecard sized (3.5 x 5") with their envelopes. The small ones sold for $5 and the big ones for $10 each. I'm glad I made a LOT of those!

Even better, I met some fellow crafty type ladies who took my class schedules for the rest of the summer so I'm hopeful I'll be meeting up with them for my monthly Simple & Stunning classes. It is so exciting to meet new crafters, especially the local ones, so I can add to my "crafting buddy" team!!

How was your weekend??
