It's a Rainy Sunday Here!

What's it like in YOUR neck of the woods?

Getting ready for my giveaway tomorrow, I decided that this week I will keep the set a secret till the winner is drawn. Makes it more exciting that way, don't you think?? If you want to enter for the giveaway just comment with what type of cards you imagine yourself using/giving away most often. You can choose birthday, thank you, sympathy, get well, or some other category that you use a lot! One entry per person only, please. I can only ship to the US, sorry about that!! Comment now before you forget!

In related news, the giveaway this week will include supplies to make SIX complete cards (complete with envelopes) with your new stamp set. This is a great deal because who doesn't love FREE!!?? I love it so I know you do, too!! I will be posting a video with the prize stamp set so you can have a few options to make your cards. You don't have to follow my examples or you can follow parts and make it your own. Either way, the video will be for you to use at your discretion. You will have all supplies needed to make six cards, all you need is some adhesive like snail adhesive or fast fuse or something similar.

Made some super cute cards lately. Here they are just for you:
This is a super simple but cute card to make and it uses washi tape!! How many of us have un-used washi tape laying around and we really should use it. It can make a really cute card. The sentiment on this card says, "You Inspire Me" but it could say anything at all. From "Thinking of You" to "Congratulations" to "Here's something to Brighten your Day!" I love that for this card you just need some card stock, gold foil card stock and a paper punch. Nice and simple!

Not sure if I posted this sympathy card here or not but I will post it now:
While this is also a super simple card it requires the use of the Big Shot. While the Big Shot is an expensive addition to your card making arsenal, I feel it is one of the mainstays in my own card creating menus. There are so many cute dies to choose from and with Stampin' Up! they always offer bundles (stamp set plus accompanying framelits) at a 10% discount so that is wonderful. These beautiful shapes are from the Flourishing Phrases bundle and I used the paper from the Subtle collection to soften it up a bit. With just a few cranks of the Big Shot handle I had all these super pretty, delicate shapes to adhere onto my card stock. I added a bit of bling (when don't I? lol) to the centers of both flowers; I realize they are hard to see in this photo. That's what I get for not using flash!!  This die cutting bundle even comes with the custom label cut out as you see here. Quite a different label shape and really pretty.

Don't forget, Sale-A-Bration is in its final month and now is the time to JOIN MY TEAM if you are on the fence.
