Thankful Thursday!

Good morning, everyone!

I started this on my other blog a couple of weeks ago but thought I'd carry it over here: Thankful Thursday. It's pretty simple: what are you thankful for today? It could be something simple like your morning coffee or it could be so much more.

Though for some of us, coffee is a big deal some mornings!

I stayed up too late last night again. Just trying to catch up and my craft room looks like a hurricane went through there. I'll call it "Hurricane Debbie" and I'm not being funny, either. Seriously need a few hours of "me" time in there to fix it up.

I keep throwing in some Christmas items but go back to the Fall stuff because we are basically in our autumn time ....yes, even here in California we have autumn. You just can't really identify it by the weather. Though it did get down to 62 degrees the other night so I was pretty stoked about that!  It's the little things, people!

Ok, so here's a card I put together last night. I've gotten into the good habit of making two of anything at the same time. Usually it works out supply-wise especially if I'm cutting my own card stock for a card. I get two out of one 8.5 x 11 inch piece of card stock. Next, if I'm designing something new I can have the same basic stuff for each card but play around a little bit to see what works better. Sometimes this turns out as a surprise, even for me!

I used some of the thinlets from the Paisleys & Posey's set and card stock from the Petals and Paisley stack. One of the backgrounds is from a Christmas 6 x 6 paper stack that I got on clearance a month ago. If you guys haven't checked out the recent clearance items there is some awesome stuff there, in fact there's another paper stack (Go Wild designer series) for only 3.20 on clearance. You can't beat that! I love these 6 x 6 stacks because they are so versatile and for that price you can't go wrong. The envelope paper is still showing as available too, and that's quite a deal at 2.40 for 20 sheets of double sided paper (12 x 12.)

I'm definitely thankful for the clearance items Stampin' Up! offers. They are good about keeping stuff on there till it is sold out, and seem to have an excellent selection of items.

One last thing: you will likely hear me talk about the incentive trip that Stampin' Up! is offering to its demonstrators. The current trip is to Thailand and that one is all complete, they just haven't gone on the actual trip yet. But the earning period for the Alaska trip is going on till next year and I'll be working towards it. In future blog posts you will see the button for the Alaska trip and know that any and every order you place through me will help me get there, and for that I am truly grateful. Without my loyal Stampin' Up! customers, where would I be?

Want to have even MORE fun? Join me as a demonstrator. I would be happy to help you and tell you all I can about how much fun it is to work with Stampin' Up! products every day. It really is a fantastic journey!

I'm going to go back to the crafting table now. Coffee time is over and it is time to get CREATIVE!!
Have a great day!
